Dental Implants
A permanent, natural-looking solution for missing teeth.

A dental implant is a biocompatible artificial tooth root made of titanium, placed in the jawbone to replace a missing tooth. Implant treatment is performed without reducing adjacent teeth and without the need for removable dentures.
The treatment process begins with an examination in which a panoramic X-ray assesses suitability for implants. The implants are then placed in the jawbone (about 15 minutes); once fusion is complete, a healing cap is fitted (10 minutes), impressions are taken (15 minutes), and finally the prosthetic tooth is tried in and permanently bonded (15 minutes).
For completely toothless jaws, full-mouth implant treatment can be applied using 8 implants per jaw, with a temporary prosthesis provided during the 2-3 week healing period. Full fusion of the implant with the jawbone (osseointegration) usually takes between 3 weeks and 3 months.
The procedure is performed painlessly under local anesthesia; mild pain and swelling may occur during healing. As the closest alternative to a natural tooth, implants prevent bone loss and can last a lifetime with proper care, similar to caring for natural teeth.
