Aesthetic Dentistry
Modern treatment methods that combine function and aesthetics.

Aesthetic dentistry aims to give you the mouth and tooth structure you want to see in the mirror, tailored to your physical features. Treatments are planned after an initial examination based on the patient's expectations and include smile design, teeth whitening and veneer applications.
Zirconia crown veneers are applied by reducing natural teeth and placing lab-fabricated ceramic caps over them; thanks to their durability and light transmission, they are also frequently used for implant crowns. E-Max ceramic, being more translucent than zirconia, is often preferred for front teeth.
Porcelain laminate veneers are applied by bonding a thin porcelain layer to the front surface of teeth with aesthetic concerns; they are recommended for color mismatch, gaps, chipping and wear. Modern bonding techniques hold them firmly in place; since they are somewhat more delicate than natural teeth, biting hard objects should be avoided.
Teeth whitening is a safe method that lightens discolored or yellowed teeth by several shades; in-office whitening can lighten teeth by 6-8 shades in about an hour, while at-home whitening with custom trays used 4-8 hours a day achieves results in about 5 days. The effect typically lasts 2-3 years and only works on natural teeth — fillings or veneers do not respond to whitening.
