Dental Implant Costs in Ankara

Ankara, thanks to its large population and high demand for dental implants, is home to numerous clinics and specialist dentists in this field. Although implant treatment may seem intimidating at first, it is today's most effective solution for missing teeth; once completed, patients can use their implant teeth just like their natural ones.

An implant is a treatment method that replaces teeth lost or requiring extraction for various reasons. Made of titanium and its alloys, the implant is placed into the jawbone to form an artificial tooth root; treatment is then completed by adding a healing cap and a prosthetic crown.

The treatment process consists of an exam and planning stage, placement of the implant (a procedure that takes about 15 minutes), a healing period of two to six months called osseointegration, attachment of a healing cap, and finally fitting of the prosthetic crown.

Completing treatment generally takes about six months, though this can vary depending on the patient's metabolic condition, diet and oral care. If the jawbone is insufficient, a bone graft may be needed; a bridge may be preferred for multiple missing teeth; and if the bone isn't suitable for grafting, mini implants or flapless implants may be considered.
